On Monday, May 10th, 2004, Andrew Bird performed (along with the Crash Test Dummies) on the WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour. This performance blew me away, and as you can tell when you watch these, it was obvious he blew away everyone that saw him. This was the first time I witnessed him performing alone, doing all of the work himself with his now-infamous looping setup.

Although there is a link to the complete video on the WoodSongs website, it doesn't appear to work any longer; I have a copy but present it here in an edited format devoid of anything unrelated to Bird or his performance. I *did*, however, include remarks made about or to Bird during the performances because I think they are interesting. If this is the first time you are watching these, you should watch them in the order presented to you here on the screen. Note - the first two, while divided for cleanliness here, are, in the original, seamless; otherwise, performances by the Crash Test Dummies were in between.
